Historical Vicksburg Home Gets A New Life

Tucked away on a secluded side street right outside of the Vicksburg city limits sits a two-story historical home that has seen the growth of its town over the decades. When pulling up you can see the classic architecture of this beautiful home and how it’s been updated throughout the years.

BlackBerry Systems has had the wonderful opportunity to do many of the home’s exterior updates. From updating the home’s exterior to a crisp white vinyl siding, replacement roof, complete gutter system and most recently new double hung windows.

When asking Kay what her favorite exterior home improvement project was for her southwest Michigan home she instantly replied, “The windows! Specifically the upstairs bathroom one. It opens now!” She went on to share how it had an older window that was one you cranked open. But was painted shut during one of their DIY bathroom renovations. “It was very difficult to clean any of the windows due to how they only slid up and down. The new ones have the ability to open up towards me. Washing them is divine now!”

We asked if they had anything else on their wishlist of projects to do? Kay replied, “Oh yes, entry doors! And we already have them on order! BlackBerry will be back soon to place them.”

The Wunderlins said they were so thrilled with the way their “old gal” has a breath of life back in her. They said all their home’s exterior improvements were done to such detail. But they wouldn’t expect anything less from BlackBerry Systems.
